Project Overview:

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is a statutory authority established by the Government of India to issue unique identification numbers, known as Aadhaar, to residents of India.

Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identification number that serves as proof of identity and address for Indian citizens.

UIDAI’s primary objective is to provide a robust and inclusive identity infrastructure to empower residents by providing them with a unique identity that can be used to access various government services and benefits.

UIDAI operates under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and plays a pivotal role in India’s digital transformation efforts by enabling secure and convenient access to essential services for all residents.

Challenges:
